Welcome to Jack Lambert’s Hunting Adventure blog, a place where Jack (and occasionally some of his friends) post stories and pictures from their hunting adventures. If you are looking for trophy shots of the biggest antlers around, or nice polished stories, then you are in the wrong place. There are a few exceptionally big critters we’ve shot over the years, and some of the stories are decently written I think, but by and large, this is a blog by and for regular old redneck hunters; guys (and gals) who hunt for food and not for sport. We all do things besides write hunting stories for a living. There are no guides. There are no fences. Just real people, hunting public land (or on very rare occasion some private land when we have permission).

We are not always the most clueful hunters (in fact, sometimes we’ve been downright clueless), but we are militant about being legal hunters. We only hunt in season, we tag everything we kill, and we only use methods of take that are legal in whatever jurisdiction we are hunting in at the time. However, on more than one occasion, some ‘true sportsman’ has taken offense with us for various reasons. When/where legal, we shoot does. We shoot young deer. Sometimes we miss or make a bad shot. We have used crossbows, bait, and even done our share of road hunting.

So that’s the deal. If this sounds like your kind of place, start reading and enjoy. If not, then I suggest you kindly be on your way without reading another word.

Thanks,
Jack Lambert
